GES’s ecology expert can provide you with a broad range of field investigation and report preparation services. GES is licensed and endorsed to provide a range of protected species services. We are proud to offer you the following professional services:
- Habitat Assessments – Understanding the complex habitat requirements of protected Midwestern species is critical to estimating their presence or occurence. GES has the expertise to provide habitat assessments for a multitude of state and federally protected species of fish, wildlife, and plants.
- Presence/Probable Absence Surveys – Regulatory actions often require completion of complex biological surveys to determine the likelihood of protected species inhabiting a study area. GES has the experience and contacts necessary to complete surveys for protected species utilizing the latest technology and time proven methodologies.
- Section 7 Consultation – Negotiating the complex regulatory framework of the federal Endangered Species Act can be a daunting task. GES has the experience required and network needed to negotiate with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and state resources agencies to find amenable solutions to complex issues.
